This Privacy Policy explains how Solae by Dronika ("Solae", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you visit solaebydronika.com or purchase from us. It is issued in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

2. Personal data we collect

Identity and contact data: name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address
Order data: items purchased, sizes, customisation requirements and measurements you share with us, order history
Payment data: processed directly by our payment gateway. We receive confirmation of payment status only — we never receive or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net banking credentials.
Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and similar analytics data collected through cookies
Communications: messages you send us by email, Instagram or WhatsApp, including customisation discussions

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal, and may mean we can no longer fulfil an order in progress.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

Payment gateways — to process your payment securely
Logistics and courier partners — to deliver your order
Our e-commerce platform (Shopify) — which hosts this store and processes data on our behalf
Professional advisers and authorities — where required by law

6. Data retention

We retain order and transaction records for as long as needed to fulfil the purpose for which they were collected, and thereafter only for the period required under Indian tax and company law — generally eight years from the end of the relevant financial year. Marketing data is retained until you withdraw consent. Where data is no longer needed for any lawful purpose, we erase it.

7. Your rights under the DPDP Act

As a Data Principal you have the right to:

Correction — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or completed
Erasure — request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations
